Hello I have a question, I have a white broad breasted hen that has been laying eggs for 4 months almost everyday, I just recently got a blue tom, royal hen, and a bronze broad hen over a week ago.
The WBB won't present to the tom and wants nothing to do with him.
The royal won't either she just gave us her first eggs.
The bronze allows the tom quiet often but I have yet see her drop an egg?
They have lay boxes, the royal dropped her egg with the the WBB egg.

Anyway to encourage the other two to allow the tom to do his job?

Any ideas why the bronze isn't dropping an eggs but allowing the tom to mate her?

The hens will submit to the tom when they are good and ready.

The BBW is most likely near going broody and is unlikely to submit to the tom until after she gets broken from being broody. The Royal Palm may have already been bred before you got her and may also be getting close to being broody.

Hens will start breeding as much as a month before they start laying. When your BBB is ready to lay, she will.

So should I leave the BBW eggs in box or keep pulling?
