I know fish aren’t reptiles but can someone please tell me how to PROPERLY set up a tank with live plants? And so on...

I planted seeds on rock before I filled it with water, the large plants are silk. I've only had this set up for a little over a month so I don't know how it will hold up long term. I have a female Betta in this tank and some shrimp.

This is one of mine. Algae is just about getting under control after a battle with it. Bob the snail does a great job

Glad you mentioned that. In my last tank my pet store kept giving me Algea eater fish that WOULD NOT eat food or even algea and would die in a week.

Yeah ok. Algae is so annoying.

A lot of people had said the same about those fish. I’m not sure why they still recommended them after they just die. I’ll be sure to ask questions on there.
