I've never been but I've always heard about a good sized show in Fresno (i think it was fresno...) that I believe was in February? I'll have to dig around
Fresno is just one large building, unlike Stockton which was 3 last year, plus a sales barn. Last year though, Fresno did have a separate area for game cocks. Fresno is not as large as Stockton, but it's still a good show.
I love lizards! Most specially geckos. My DH and I had a huge tank of Tokays and even watched an egg hatch that was laid up front and center of the glass. Never knew that a gecko egg would stick to glass. We raised that teeny baby too. Now Tokays, you can't get them out and play with them, they'll bite you and make you run home crying to mama, but they're cool, they're pretty, and they have a bark that almost sounds like baby alligators. I had a six foot iguana that I raised from the size of one foot. Gweedo lived with me for almost 10 years.
Your snakes are very pretty. I love to hold them and try to make them warm, but then I must give them back. It's the feeding them that kills me cause I tend to get attached to their food too. And I love the eyelashes on your gecko!
Would someone be so kind as to PM me with info about the Fresno show, and what I might need to do to enter if I'm so inclined? With the exception of our fair, I've never shown poultry before.
Yeah at Reptile shows the animals aren't judged or anything, it's just a place for breeders to get togheter and sell and educate the public. Very very fun to go to! You see a lot of AMAZING animals!
Still can't find anything on the Fresno show... Bummer.
