i never had any chickens until now, but I have had numerous reptiles, ranging from ball pythons, burmese pythons, reticualted pythons, and african rock pythons. i started getting away from the giant snakes after my family was born, not from fear of what they would do to my kids, it just takes alot of effort and time and space!
The largest snakes that i have had were about 13-15 feet long and about 120 pounds!!.. biiiiig mama!lol.
so i got into the smaller lizards, .. geckos to be exact. Leopard geckos. At one time i had over 45 geckos ranging from adults to hatchlings.
I really like breeding leopard geckos, it is fun to take the different color morphs and breed them together to see what you get
, but once again it takes lots o space.
since my good pc has died on me, i am using a backup that doent have any pics on it atm, but i will see if i can find some, all i have left reptile-wise currently is an African fat tail gecko, he is a dirty orange with dark brown bands and a single white stripe that goes down his spine, from the tip of his nose to the tip of his tail, he is over 10 yrs old now, and still has a good 10+ yrs left to go.
I incubated all the eggs myself, i used a hovabator incubator, with thermostat and a forced air fan, so I reckon i can do the same with chicken eggs, as long as i get the correct temps to use
so if anyone has any reptile questions, i can help. i have been dealing with "herps"(reptiles) for almost 20 yrs now. I dont mess with poisonous stuff, i am crazy... not stupid, lol
