Reputable online hatchery that sells just 1-3 birds?

I can't seem to find the breeds I want locally, at least not through the regular resources. I am hoping to get pullets. These will be my first chickens and I'm not ready to take on the task of raising chicks. I only want 3 birds. Is there a reputable online seller for something like this?

MyPetChicken.com can sell as few as 3 birds. I think some other hatcheries do as well, you would have to call to ask them. We got ours from MPC and they were great.

With costs of shipping being likly 3-5x the cost of a bird, you'd be best off getting them locally. You need at least 2 if not 3 because they are social.

Thanks! I went with MPC. Shipping was pretty salty, but it was worth it to know I'm getting females.

If you really want older pullets, instead of chicks, I would look for someone local. Unless you want sex-link hybrids with their beaks cut off. That's all that's usually available for older pullets from hatcheries. If you're willing to raise chicks, then you can have just about any breeds you want from a hatchery.
