As for the age--I can't pin it down much for you but I'm guessing she's still a pullet, based on the size of the comb and wattles. The color could be due to her poor state--if she starts laying when you get her all healed up that'll tell you if she's closer or farther from 1 year.

I think probably a game mix. She doesn't look muscular enough or broad enough at the shoulders to be pure, in my opinion.
Where we got her from she was being bullied.... and she was kept in poor conditions... it actually goes right around her vent and half way up her ba as well.... broke my heart when I was putting the blu-kote on heryour guess seems right. What happened to her tail?
