Won’t a drake accidentally drown a chicken hen if he has no duck hens?

I read on here that a someone had chickens and a drake. They set up a small kiddie pool for the drake and he drowned like 3 of their hens trying to mate them.

Oh jeez. It's such a peaceful backyard scene right now -- the pretty hens, the happy duck, all hanging out together. But perhaps instead of giving him a bowl of treats on 12/25, I need to give him a duck wife.
