The one on the left is small and blue and the only hen. I think the next one is Rou 's. The other two are very interesting as they have brown breasts but black heads and backs. Definitely Quackers.

Told them about the lamp and she raised it already. I think Tuesday or Wednesday i will pick them up. Cleaned out the house today, but still need to work on the little run.

Can’t wait to see the littles in their new home. I bet they will love it. Fresh air, ducks visiting daily. They’ll be in ducky heaven.

The ducknager cave is ready for their new inhabitants:

They have an infrared heat lamp, so no annoying bright light. (I hope they like that!)

And their little run of ~9m² (97sqft) is roughly fenced in (a bit hard to see due to impending darkness):

Just need to attach the fence to the house and tie the three segments together with zip-ties, two poles and done. If the neighbors schedule allows the new Duckies will be here tomorrow…

Are you putting in the wet bar and hot tub this weekend ?

Yeah! Making fun of us here in the cold north!
A hot tub would definitely be a huge success with the ducks! We will stay below the freezing mark today and tomorrow and tonight will be the coldest night of the season here, forecast says -9°C (16F) for Charleston. We're at a higher elevation, so i assume it will be even colder here.
Might not be the brightest idea to move the ducknagers from a fully closed chicken-cube into the duckling-cave today. Might be a shock for them, but i need to wait what the neighbor says. @Miss Lydia you were so right about the heat lamp hanging too low: Neighbor told me the ducklings have already broken two bulbs…
