Rescue Goose....please help!

How awesome of you to give this pair a home. They are adorable!

Your housing situation looks great. If you can, I'd let them free-range by day, and then put them into the pen at night. They will need a kiddy pool during warm weather, and can get away with a 5 gallon bucket or rubber tub in winter.

Geese have similar diet needs as horses. They are grass/hay grazers, with grain supplement. Flockraiser is a good all-around grain. I also like to give them whole corn. I like to feed approx. 1 cup per bird twice per day.

Bc we also have chickens that free range, we plan to keep them in this run for a couple days so everyone can safely become acquainted. We have a pond (more like a small watering hole) I assume they wil venture to it in the summer. Right now we have them a big green tub , the kind that horse supplement comes in from TSC. We have provided flock layer and some spinach for now until we let them out to free range with the chickens

We got them in the water this morning. They were on their own for 30 minutes before they made their way back to the house. Were hoping they stay on our land!
