I got a call from my local shelter that a couple of stray hens in bad shape needed a home so I picked them up. One was clearly a barred rock but her brown friend stood taller but her body was much smaller. All of her leg and bottom feathers have been plucked out so it's very hard to determine what kind of chicken she is. Hoping you guys can help
The first pic is the night we got her and the next 2 are after we sprayed her with blu-kote to try to get her to stop pecking at her skin (also treated her for lice, mites, and worms because we don't know where they came from). And that last pic is her egg. So what do y'all think?
