Well its confirmed its a boy! He started crowing this week. So sad I was really was hoping for a hen since I can't have roosters where I'm at. He is nice looking with his feathers growing in. I will start to look for a good home for him.
He is getting his spurs and crowing. Looks like you were right on the double barring. Cuckoo Muran.Definitely a chicken, & male. It's got double Barring. Thinking Cuckoo Marans, or possibly an olive egger.
Not that it matters much but it's not a Cuckoo Marans with that pea comb and high set tail. Is it bantam sized or large fowl?He is getting his spurs and crowing. Looks like you were right on the double barring. Cuckoo Muran.
