Rescue - what kind of chicken is it?

Just an update. The lil rescue chicken has healed up and is standing on her injured foot now after wearing a shoe I made for it. Her wings are down like a Bantan and her coloring is a splash. I still think its a mixed breed. No crown or wattle so debate is still ou if male or female. I'm still soaking her foot and using the sling because she has a slight limp.

I still find it crazy how long that chick's beak is!

I am happy the chick is getting better and hopefully it will be walking like normal in no time!

You and me both on the beak. It makes it look like a hawk compared to my Rhode Island Reds that are about the same age. Very long beak.
I have never seen a chicken, or chick with such a long beak. Doesn't look like the beak of any maran, RIR, golden comet, orpington, sexlink, wyandotte, etc. that I have ever seen.

And the fact that it has nothing like a comb is weird. Do you think maybe he came from some kind of breeder who does something with their combs when they are young?
