Rescued a Chick from Tractor Supply Today

I'm so glad you rescued this chick. I loved the pic of her snuggling with the bunny!

Violet seems to enjoy visiting her fellow chicks. We tried to put her back in the hospital brooder but she wouldn't have anything to do with it. They're snuggling down to sleep now, though, so it might be time to move her back to her bunny. I hope this means tomorrow she'll be doing even better.

Violet is doing much better today. She's been in the brooder with our 14 day olds all day and hasn't had a single problem, other than every now and then looking for me for reassurance. We may have her sleep in her hospital brooder one more night, but she seems very happy with the other chicks. Good!

Hi, I'm just a "New Egg" with no chickens of my own, but you sound like my kind of person. I spend a lot of time at our local TSC stores just hoping I was taking 4 chicks home. Hafta battle with our Village Officials to get the ok, but in the meantime, I am reading, and getting prepared. Good for you for rescuing that little chick.
