This little one also has quite taste for mashed roaches, delicious eh?

He stayed home alone today for a couple hours and ate his own food fine, though I still need too teach him how to drink water out of puddles and dishes. Here's the little guy, he's starting to fill out and can fly just about anywhere, although he's still clumsy. Once he's good at eating and drinking on his own, I'll take him outside and show him around, also making sure to keep water and food dishes out there specifically for him.

Adorable now that his feathers have smoothed out, ain't he?

Just because he's wild it doesn't mean he doesn't like attention!

Foood! Fooooood!

He likes parrot formula too, though I'm getting him off this since it isn't found outside!

Thinking about how he should eat this mealworm...

this is a tufted titmouse baby --- see the tiny bit of russet on the sides of its breast and the 'tufted' head ---
so glad he is doing well -- good for you!
