Rescued a Serema....i think? help me out? More pics added, another ?

her feet/legs were nasty cruddy....i think it was feces. We washed her feet and they look a lot better now. They are a uniform color...really pale...not what I am used to. She needs a full out bath. She sorta stinks. And I wonder what her tail will look like since right now EVERY tail feather is broken off.

is there anything else, medical wise, I need to do? She acts healthy, and doesn't seem like there is anything wrong.

This is a nice oegb bb red hen.

ditto OEGB - Dutch have slate blue legs and their combs tend to be more regular. OEGB are typically dubbed for showing so comb shape is not emphasized as much as in the Dutch

ETA: You couldn't ask for a better "house chicken"! My faves are the Dutch, then the OEGBS. Both are great with people, including kids. Even the roos are real joys.

When in the garage I have my two Seramas in a ferret cage made by Super Pet. It's a table top variety not roll around. I just run a board through the cage wire for the roost and it works perfect. When they are outside, my DH built an A frame tractor with roost. There is a door on the end, its very light weight and I just move it all over the yard. Your little hen does not appear to be much different in size. Many people keep their smaller house chickens in bird cages or dog crates too.

Probably a hatchery-quality BB Red Old English, they often do have white in the earlobes. Her earlobes don't look 'white', only the centers of them are.

ETA: I would say that she is definitely OEGB since she appears to have pink legs.
