Rescued an injured domestic mallard and need advice

If you could find another duckling for company it may help it. It will need some protection in the winter. I've had blind chickens but never a duck.

We have to rebuild the outdoor enclosure to predator proof it better. I guess I am told we can get it friends if she survives the winter. I am looking to see if I can find her one before that because I agree with you, I don't think she will make it without one. The trick is to find a female younger than her whose not a duckling, as a male might pick on her.

She doesn’t have to have another Rouen check on Craigslist or here on BYC there is a forum called where am I where are you look up your state. Maybe someone can help. I agree don’t get a drake unless you intend to get at least 3-4 more females also. She’s a beautiful duck and very blessed to have you.
