Rescued Broiler stopped walking

Update: Lucky is doing much better and is now walking more. Her legs are no longer splayed. I think it was her blister foot.

Thank you all for your help and concern :)

Cut out the corn treats to prolong her life. It's like feeding her cotton candy all day and then wondering why she's gaining weight. If you absolutely feel the need to give her treats, make them count nutritionally. A mashed hard boiled egg with the shell mashed with it is perhaps the ideal treat for chickens, it's low in calories, low in fat, high in protein, an excellent source of calcium to help strengthen her bones, and contains all of the amino acids she needs. Another nutritionally sound treat for her would be a can of sardines packed in WATER, or at the very least, with the oil drained and patted dry. You can offer the water or oil from the sardines mixed with your pelleted food as a treat for your non-meat-birds as a treat as well. It's not uncommon for meat birds to break a leg due to their own weight. They're not bred to live long, they're bred to grow from chick to the table in as fast of a time as possible.

I am so happy to hear that she's feeling better! I had a meat bird years ago that lived to almost 2 years old, we called her Bertha. She had the sweetest disposition and was always the first to come waddling up to us when we went into the yard.
