oh well, I was only going off a picture guide I found online and that doesn't mention anything about feathery or non feathery legs so clearly you know better than google. Thank you for your help! Hopefully someone might have some suggestions. Apparently the two white ones were good layers until it went cold.
Maybe they're RIW mixes - they do look very similar to them aside from the feathered legs, and that comb might be a rose comb and not a pea comb. Of course Australian standards for some breeds might differ from here in the States, too, but I do think that in Australia the RIWs still have clean legs.
