I picked up a rescued duck Monday. She has a severe case of bumble foot. They had given her antibiotics and her foot is not hot now. I wanted to post a picture of her feet and see if you all have any ideas how I can help her. She puts most of her weight on this foot which makes her walk with a limp. She seems to have adjusted OK. Let me know what ya think. Would wrapping it help or hurt her? Any advice would be greatly appreciated

If she has bumble foot, you will want to find the plug and drain it out. Pick out all the nasty stuff and keep it clean and covered with something like neosporin. Do a search on bumble foot and there are quite a few cases here where people have fixed it. If not tended to, it can eventually kill the bird if it goes septic.

I have drained, etc. with my chickens...but since the rescue place had tried to fix it. I didn't know if this is the best she's gonna be. I did a search of bumblefoot...but I don't know if her foot has already had all the 'fixin' and she's just got a deformed looking foot now. She doesn't act like she's in pain ???
