i didnt know that TX protected scovies (i find that weird)You don't need to take them to a vet. Texas is the only state though that protects Muscovy, so I see why you'd have to have papers. I have had Muscovy since 2004 and have never had to take one to a vet they are very hardy. We can help you with most problems you may face, but look how well Speedy healed from his injury Water fowl are pretty amazing. Standing with a leg tucked up doesn't usually mean an injury it just means they like standing and sleeping on one leg mine do it a lot.
Tell us all you have been feeding them feed and treats. What they eat can make their poop look different each time.
