Rescued ducklings

-Fawn and white runner and the other is either golden 300 or silver appleyard.

-Actually if anything I would keep feeding the Purina chick starter. The last time that I contacted Purina directly, I was told their chick starter has the same amount of niacin as their flock raiser and duck feed 55ppm per kg).

-If you only have a hot water bottle in with the ducklings unless it’s 80+ outside that is why the fawn and white runner is shaking. Even if the others are acting fine at this age ducklings need a stable heat source to go under when they feel chilled.

-Bald patches are normal at this age as they lose down and will start to grow in adult feathers.

-Without a video it’s hard to know, but dose the quieter one have raspy/hoarse chirp at all? It sounds like you may have a male and female. I have had males at this age start to have noticeable voice difference vs loud females.

It doesn't say how much niacin is in it. I like Nutritional yeast over brewers yeast but main thing is getting them on one of the other. What temps are you keeping these ducklings at?

I’m not sure what the temperature is right now I can’t seem to find the temperature gun that I was using to measure but with the hot water bottles for the little birds, I was getting it up to like 89

Definitely no Rouens. The yellow one with the stripe on the head looks like a Golden 300 or possibly a Silver Appleyard. The white one is probably a Pekin, or white layer. The build looks Pekin though.
Neither of them look like Runners either.
Yeah, the one does look like a golden 300 and the other I’m pretty sure is a runner it stands upright like my other runners

At the beginning of the year I stopped using the large feed brand businesses because the feed was bothering my birds so now I get the feed from this local feed mill and the birds love it. I already gave away that bag of feed to my sister’s work

They both have the same kind of chirp same Pitch. one is just a lot louder than the other. The runner makes barely any noise. I can barely hear him chirping
