Rescued Hen: Lash Egg?

I appreciate the kind words. I really do. But I cant help but feel responsible. If it were my dog or my cat, I'd have taken her to a vet. I am seriously doubting my soundness for keeping chickens. It's not fair. If I can't offer them what they need to be healthy and avoid suffering like that, maybe I shouldn't keep them.
:hit
Don't tel yourself that! You took in SICK chickens! Most people don't even TRY to reduce sick hens, because of the hassle! I have see so many threads that say not to take in sick hens. You did the best you could and the feeling is terrible, I know, I aha felt it and it makes you feel so terrible! You didn't know, if you did, you would have done something different, and saved her life. But you know what the means? It means this chicken sacrificed her life, to save another hens life in the future, because then, you will know exactly what to do, and who to care for her. Don't give up on chicken keeping, Your hen is great full of what you did, and she is up, up, up with my Golden Sex-link hen Scrappy. She is over the rainbow bridge now, and you did ALL you could. Never give up! :hugs
