Rescued pigeon with severe open wound

Is there any alternatives for the vetericyn? I don’t think I can afford it at the moment (its quite pricey here where i live).

Also, should I force it to drink or eat? It wasn’t interested on anything since i took it home. I’m also concern if I’m causing it too much stress or its still in shock state.

I would use Manuka honey on the wound. It's anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory. Great wound healer!!
