Rescuing a Duck today....Found a good home for her!

shes adorable ad if you were close Id swoop her right up as much as Dh would KILL me!!! I only had 1 duck for a year until I got him GF's...Sure you cant keep her until you can get her playmates in Spring??? Very RARE to find a duck that loves human attention as much as she does

I wonder if she is the Daisy the Duck that a lady in indy was trying to give away... I responded to a CL ad and came to find out the "Exotic Pet" was a house duck... Poor thing i hope you guys find her a home soon

Could you put ads or posters up in the area she was found? If she's so sweet and loves people so much, maybe she was lost? She's really pretty.

Ill have to see what i have on them.. we emailed a few times and I almost had the parentals on track ... then we alll started having flashbacks of the 4 pekins (

I was thinking of the same thing about putting a flyer up around the area she was found, but I would be afraid that someone would claim her for dinner. That's totally not fair to this people-loving duck.

I hope you find a home, I can't take her or I would (plus, I don't live near you).

You could post in the "where am I, where are you?" forum and maybe BYC people in your area would be more likely to contact you to rehome her?
