Also, heard that you could put apple cider vinegar in their water to treat for worms??? Is that true? And if so, would it hurt to put the vinegar in the same water as the duramycin?

That's misinformation. I've been using ACV for a long time and my birds still got worms, chemical wormers work best. Don't add ACV to medicines, it can change the chemical make up of the product and may or may not harm your birds or render the product ineffective.

Would it be ok to switch from the duramycin to the tylan? And can you give the tylan injectable orally or do you have to literally inject with a needle?

I am not sure about switching but, I gave mine orally at a rate of 0.5 ml for LF chickens and 0.25 for my bantams. I bought the 100ml bottle and it treated my 20 chickens and I still have half a bottle. I read injecting it has a quicker response but I did not want to go that route.

OK, that is what I am reading is that injecting it works quicker, but I am like you, I'd rather do it orally. I just hope it doesn't hurt to switch. I wouldn't think it would, so if anyone can be of help I'd appreciate it!! =)

It does not hurt to change to Tylan and yes, you can give it orally. It's best given injected but it will work orally as well. I've used it at a dose of 0.5 ml/cc per standard size bird x 5 days with excellent results.
