Hi, I have 2 chickens out of 11 that I can hear rattling in their chests. Legargic.

I know tylosin powder is recommended, but I do not have the $60 to buy some.

I like to use natural remedies as much as possible. I was going to give the chickens homemade oregano oil, put some in the water.

Is there anything else I can do naturally? I have safrax also. I know that is a great sanitizer but heard you can put it in the chickens water.

I greatly appreciate any help! I am hoping the rest of the flock doesnt get it! have some 8 week old babies. I can isolate the 2 also.

Do they have any other symptoms beside some rales/rattling?

Any mucous, eye discharge, etc.?

Crops emptying?

Never heard of Safrax, you'd have to do your own research on that an determine if it can be used. Sometimes a cure is worse than the disease.

Make sure they have plenty of ventilation and are eating well.
