Can't see what you mean about the white lid. Do you mean a cheesy deposit in the eye? That could be aspergillosis, also a fungal respiratory ailment. Or is it just the white of the eye? They do have that around the colored iris.
If you go to Revival Animal Health online, they have Oxine at a fair price. It cured fungal infections in a few of my older birds last summer when a few tablespoons were put in a cool mist vaporizer and the birds misted a few times each day. No signs of that fungal crud at all this year, but this year, the summer was much milder, too.
If fungal you do not want to give antibiotics.
