Rest in peace, Bertha and Frannie :(

I sadly had to put down the two best chickens in the entire world. They were the best chickens you could ask for. They had to stay secret in my neighborhood, and always stayed quiet. Frannie never layed eggs, but bertha did frannies part and layed all year round. I love both of them so much and won’t ever forget about them

Thank you, i’m not sure what it’s called but their egg tubes were slowly disintegrating and egg shells were coating freely in their abdomen. I guess it’s a common thing for heavy laying breeds like them.
