Rest of eggs not going to hatch

My hen has been broody for 24 days now. We gave her 7 eggs and only 2 hatched. It seems as the rest aren’t going to hatch, but the hen is still sitting on the eggs. What should we do? Will the hen stop sitting in a few days?

Aloha, I recently was in the same situation that you were in and was curious about your outcome. Can you give us an update?

In my case, my young broody mama finally got off her nest and the end of Day 23. She hatched only one chick out of 12 eggs and that chick hatched (like clockwork) on Day 21. I candled the remaining 11 eggs at that point and none were viable.
