Explains why I bonded so well with my last broody hen. Ah, well. Glad I made some giggles today. I'll have to share that with my book club friends tonight.

OK You asked for old home remidies , well here you go.


It is supposed to help with problem legs when sleeping . Put a bar of soap at the foot of the bed between bottom sheet and mattress , no deoderant soap just plain soap.I don"t know how it is supposed to help but I know many people who swear by it , some will take thier bar of soap on trips to use in motel rooms !!

Old fashioned soap you say? Well, I'll try that wedged between my leg pillows as my kids call them. I make my own so I'll try that first. Can't hurt and probably leaves your sheets smelling nice.

Alas, I am the broody one. The closer I get to 40 the more I think just one more would be nice. The other 2 turned out well. First thing is I need a better roo this time around (usefulness of my flock, coolness of my male cat and the loyalty of my terrier).

Highlander: yes, a hot bath - with Epsom salt... dont know why it works, but it works for me.

RLS is a nerve/muscle issue - I dont eat alot of red meat, all my lab draws are normal and within limits, no deficiencies anywhere.

Like I said, I've had it before they even had a name for it "officially" - I've always called it "the heebie-jeebies" - my mom has it too. I dont know what causes it, but my neuologist says its nerve/muscle related - the correlation between the two and the brain - something misfires and the twitches begin.

I hate it... whenever I feel that creepy crawly feeling coming on, I run and take 2 muscle relaxers, then jump in the tub and

it will take it away.
