Restless Leg Syndrome?

I get it in my ankles. I bend them one way then they have to be bent the other. Its like two kids fighting. Ones always getting more of a stretch..

Yeah now that's what I'm talking about. It just so happens that I have a brand new bar of Imperial Leather kicking about. I'll try it tonight and report back in the morning. Thanks!

There was a singles thread at one point, not sure what happened to it. Let us know if you need us to start it up again for you!

Do you believe it is hereditary? Both my parents had it and my sister and I both get it too. We also got it before there was a name for it, we used to call it "funny legs". Ha flipping ha, eh?

The fact that all 4 of us had it seems to give more credence to the dietary theory as we were obviously eating the same things, or not as the case may be. Unless of course the nerve thing is a hereditary issue too?

I still can't imagine taking a hot bath though, heat always seems to make mine worse. I usually have to throw my legs out of the duvet at night.

I do that with my ankles too. I sometimes also contract my calf muscles until they cramp just so I can give them a good stretch out again. It helps for a nanosecond.

Could be something in the genes for me. My grandfather had horrific legs but course never complained as my grandmother could outdo him. My aunt and her daughter have both had issues. Guess I was next in the lineup. I could have gotten the 'crazy' so could be worse I suppose. Sleep with a lamb???

Yes, I'm afeared we are going to have to start up that thread!

leg cramps... need banana and milk. or so told it to me by Mahonri our byc dentist.

I have heard so far today, yakking with friends and older ladies at the grocery store:

Lack of calcium
Lack of potassium
Possession by the Devil

Genetic trait
Generalized lack of "something" in the diet
Too much caffeine
Evil spirits-another

Nerve damage
Giving birth
Not giving birth (?)
Poor circulation from wearing tight jeans

I'm sure I've forgotten some, but it certainly was an entertaining shopping trip!
