Ok I had 8 chickens egg's
6 ducks. Hatch Date was suppose to be yeserday (Sunday) for both.
Well 6 of the chicks hatched between Saturday and Sunday.
No Nothing from the ducks.
Took the chicks out a few mintues ago. They are little cuties!!!!
Closed up the bator as quickly as I could. Temp and Hum. back up.

Questions is should I wait for the ducks and the last 2 chicks? Or would this be a dud this time around. Got the duck eggs from someone else. But no movement except when the chicks were going crazy. Duck egg's seen very light to hold. Heavier back when I tried Candling them.
What do you think?

I'd candle to see if there is still life in the eggs. Duck eggs require higher humidity so maybe they got over dried in the process. I want to say their humidity is to be something like 10-20% higher during the entire incubation vs chickens. But that's just from reading, haven't tried myself.

I have never hatched ducks either but according to the directions in my Brower manuel it says ducks require between 50 and 65% humidity and that they take from 28 to 33 days to hatch.

I have the humidity at 65 its been there for severarl day's.
Should I go ahead and mist them then? Yesterday was 28 day's.
I'll try to candle tonight. But really don't understand what i'm seeing.
I don't think that's my cup of tea. ha ha.

Candle again and if your not sure as long as they dont smell leave em in there a few more days !! Maybe your temps were a little low and they will be late !!

OK I'll candle. And as of right now they don't smell.

And I'll try to be patient!!!!!

Thats not easy for me. I was calm lol threw this whole thing.
Thanks for your responses. Couldn't do this without BYC!!!!!!
