Sometimes a small trailer chasssis can be had for very little. One example would be a ragged-out popup camper. I once bought one for $100 and converted it to an 8 x 8 utility trailer. Years later, I overhauled it when the wood floor started going bad, and using one of my welders installed a steel floor and sides on it. Now the only thing that can go bad on it is the tires. I have had it for over 30 years now.

They DO ship. Conway Freight. I think it was about $285 if memory serves me correct. Again, kind of pricey but no sales tax since I was out of state. And that was from NY to CA. They just dropped it in my driveway on a pallet. It's fort knox. Really solid and totally worth it. I couldn't have ever buit something so nice. And I have really bad arthritis in my hands so building one was out of the question.

You can pick different colors paint for the outside and they have different materials for the roof. I fell in love with the red one and had to have it.
