I do not know yet all the details, but she is on her way over and is upset. I will let her tell you guys what's up. All I know at this point is that she has to get rid of roosters, don't know how many or if it's all of them or what.

I cannot IMAGINE her getting rid of Carl.

I am sure she will get online later or in the morning and post. She was too upset to even talk on the phone or even text about it. She'll be here soon, so we'll keep y'all updated as soon as we can.

I fervently hope this isn't turning out to be a case of someone screaming and crying so much that they finally get their own way, like some spoiled brat having a tantrum. I'll be so bummed if they've given in to that jerky neighbor's legal harassment. Poor Linda.

WTH?????? Man I hope she sues the crap out of them for harassment. This is BS! She deserves better than this. Linda is a such a kind and caring person! I'm just

because she's moved to her dream home and had so much work done, just to be tormented by these B***HEADS that have nothing better to do than be so cruel to someone who is just trying to live her life comfortable and naturally. I'm mad at the realtors too. This just sux all the way around.

Bad thing is I'm going to go through the same thing on the first when we become part of the city and are removed from county. Already saw the chicken hating busy body at a meeting last week and been worried about my roos since. I asked if they were also grandfathered in and I was told no, so we'll have to see. In the meantime I'm holding onto almost every bird I have just so I have more than I would usually keep and hopefully don't get caught up in all the mess. I have my daughter helping me find a place to live and one of my main things I want to make sure of is that my animals will be welcome.

I wanna just drive up there and make them as uncomfortable and unhappy as they are making her, but that would make me worse than them I guess. I just can't believe that she has gone above and beyond and they can get away with this.

I, too, think the realtors need to step up here. They need to either compense her for all of this stress, OR pony up a big fat honkin lawyer to represent her. Horrible oversight on their part, this is her life that is being affected. Sigh.... So sorry Linda.

Here is what I know (she will give you details... I know she was awfully distraught and not likely to log on tonight).

Her hens are safe (for now). She has to get rid of ALL but 2 roosters. She is keeping Carl and Bernard. She MAY have to whittle it down to just Carl, and if the neighbors had their way, Linda would have zero roosters. If the staff at the county offices had their way, Linda would have zero CHICKENS.

She needs to bring us more than we are going to be able to process at this time, but we'll process what we have to make room for the ones that are coming. We can't process until next Thursday (the 31st) at the absolute earliest. She has 2 weeks to whittle it down to 2 roosters.

The crazy lady making the claims against her had the nerve to say she wants to get some chicken poo for her garden from Linda. (This is only 5 months after complaining that Linda's chicken poop would accumulate in her yard, roll down hill, make a sharp left hand turn, scoot up the road about 100 feet, make a sharp right turn, then slide down the NEXT hill to get into their yard.) The other neighbor accompanying the complainant at today's hearing was the supposedly one "friend" of Linda's that she had made in the neighborhood... people that frequently/weekly buy eggs from her! I told Linda tonight I'll personally beat her to a pulp if she ever sells those $%%&)@*! another egg.
