Will you adopt me?? Please? Mean times only? I clean.

I love to cook. She comes by at least once or twice a week for grub. I asked her what she wanted for her birthday dinner, and she said pork, something simple. The pork chops turned out well--I was pleased with myself (I often am, when it comes to cooking hehehe). And as always, we enjoy having Linda over for dinner.

Y'see, I do not cook unless it involves a microwave oven or a crock pot. If it weren't for those home-cooked meals with HH and Farmer Lew, I'd be scouting out Pop-Tarts, Fig Newtons and just about any brand of ramen noodle "bowls" I could find at nearby gas station marts.

I have started grocery shopping, but mostly it's for the flock - bags o' greens, a cabbage or two... Old fashioned oatmeal.... And quick microwavable cooking stuff for me.

I was very happy with my birfday pork chop dinner - and we'd already celebrated with a wonderful carrot cake! Om nom nom.

Oh, yah, I'll nuke corn on the cob in the husk, artichokes, hot dogs, even "scramble" eggs in the microwave oven. I am only keeping the top of my new, fancy schmancy stove nice and clean for the time HH decides she wants to try it out.

It's funny you bring that up.

My 24-cavity mini muffin pan is too big for my little oven. I was gonna ask if I could come over & make a batch of mini quiches & I'll split them with you in exchange for use of your oven.

Then at least you'll have something with some nutritional value to nuke for breakfast in the morning. Just sayin', a little protein goes a long way. LOL.

You are welcome to come use MY new spiffy pretty double ovens!!!!

Might be a long commute, as in across the country to DC area.

But if you supply food, you are welcome to come cook

Linda, you and I have the same philosophy on cooking. If I can't nuke it or toss it in the oven (frozen pizza), I ain't gonna eat it!! Too lazy

My fav is the crock pot. I can put almost anything in it, and it comes out cooked, tender and edible. I can't say that for anything I put in the oven...
