So when my Better-half kinda-asked-kinda-decoding in the early spring if it was finally a good time to get some chicks.... I think I said something akin to 'sure, why not?' and off to our local feed mill & TSC we went......
She has at least a few Gig of pics & Vid's of them from day one to current on the chip in her phone but, she gets to add them in her own due time. I'll add a few now that are from late April/May to 1st week of June approx 3-8+ weeks of age?
The two in the middle are the puffy cheeked Americana(sp?) Who showed a desire to hangout on my arm and eventually shoulder every time I was in there to feed, water, clean or try to care/handle any of them.... And the Polish is named Nicki.... This one was a very calm and aloof chick until we had to reduce the Roo's in the group then 'he' showed his stipes fast..... Sheesh what a silly boy he is. But, That is now; back then the androgynous Nicki was more docile.
Saydie-Brin (11+ y/o Silver doodle), Bohdi (OES 5+ y/o) are still just as curious about them.
'Bear' the brother Pyrenees would let them poke his nose.
There in the middle front is the puffy cheeked shoulder rider....
This is 'Sher-bear' the sister. All our dogs are rescues.
