A few years ago, I saw a picture of two ostriches: one was a normal black with white tail and wing feathers, but the other was white where it's supposed to be black and black where it's supposed to be white. Is this possible?

Hmmm...I'm really not sure. I remember seeing it in Encarta...and believe me, I know how to differentiate an ostrich from a rhea.

The "albino ostrich" pictured is actually a white (leucistic) rhea.

Yes.. It gets on my nerves when People dont know left from right, or Ostrich from Rhea, or Kangaroo from Wallaby..

P.S. The Albino Kangaroo shown is not a Kangaroo, its a Wallaby. and yes, there are albino Kangaroos,,, just the one pictured is not even a kangaroo.
