I thought really hard about doing that.... then my DH told me to just buy a good one..... I found a deal on a brinsea ovation 56 ex....wow! What a difference!

easy enuf to do i do have an old clots print press ot plate soi can use that for the heat sourse biger fan got 4 156 egg aouto trays so cude make a nice one if can sourse a good timer that works in secands so on to use to turn tray turner on off

You put them in crushed ice... there are threads on here to test thermometers. . I'd recommend testing them.. setting a good one in incubator. .. set temp on incubator to your tested thermometer

It should read 32 within a few seconds when submerged in a cup full of ice and water
