He has a large comb; that's the only thing I would worry about in a cold-hardy breed.

i may be a little late on this but some peole were saying he might be a rir but dont you think he is a little light colored to be a rir or is it just me? All the rir i have seen have be much darker then this, this is almost a golden color then a red color
