Greetings. I have written a technical scientific manuscript reviewing cases of heterochromia iridis (different colored eyes in an individual) and heterochromia pedalis (different colored legs in an individual) in birds, and am including 15 new case reports in wild birds. If you know of any such birds I would love to hear from you. Please write to me at my e-mail address [email protected].

Cooel. I'd love to see the manuscript!

In chickens, it is not all that uncommon (at least in araucanas) for a rooster to have at least spots of a different color on the legs. Most araucana varieties are standardized to have "willow" legs, but many individuals have yellow legs. Those birds that are heterozygous for ID/id+ often have willow spots on otherwise yellow legs.

I don't know if that would fit your criteria, or not!
