Rhode Island Blue

Well, I cant say they feathered out any quicker than any of the others. My chicks feathered pretty quickly as a whole because I have a plate. They were both the same shade, kinda dark, and I'm not sure how easily they are sexed after hatching. So, I'm not much help in any way... 🤔
I guess, you will have to watch for wattle and comb development. They both got their tail feathers rather quickly, in comparison with the rest of the group. But... keep me posted! I would like to know more about this cross!
Tail feathers is a good sign.. When i get straught runs i always choose the ones with tail feathers and they turn out to be girls?! Anywho I believe these are feather sexed.. I have 3 and they are verrrry light grey fuzzies right now

Mine at 4 weeks. One has NO tail yet whereas the other does. Hoping the one is just a slow featherer!

This is my RIB Amber. She and her sister Rita will be 20 wks old on Sunday. I don't have a good pic of Rita but she is more blue and has a more matured comb and wattles already, which is strange to me since they are the same age. Hoping for some eggs from her soon. Prob a few weeks left still for Amber.
