Rhode Island chick mama

Hi there!
We had chickens in the Tampa, FL area when our kids were young. That was a hot, stinky, muddy endeavor. Now we live in Rhode Island and the kids are older and helping a lot with our 3 chicks. I’m in the process of building out a Little Tykes playhouse to be used as their coop. I can’t wait to get them outside!

Hello and welcome to BYC! Glad you joined.
You are going to need to have a large, predator proof run with a solid roof to put that in. It is not predator-proof and they need a lot more space than that in Rhode Island.

lol. Thanks all! And yes, I will be doing a LOT of work on the playhouse to make it safe for the ladies. I was just excited for the score on FB Marketplace. One less thing I have to build!
