This chick hatched out with a stripe going down it's back & was a little lighter than others. Now wing feathers are coming in white or perhaps a shade of white. I have heard of white rhode islands. Do they come from 2 red rhode islands ever? This is the only chick the rest are normal rir.

The Rhode Island Red and the Rhode Island White are two completely different breeds.

Where did you get the eggs, if they are from you birds where did you get the birds?

I am using the photobucket app my phone so posting pics is challenging!! Took pic of it with another chick from the same batch the wing kept washing out in the pictures since it is so light The chick came from mt healthy hatcheries. I know hatcheries make mistakes but this chick appears the same as the rir except the coloring. It had the 3 stripes on it from the day we got it. My daughter thinks it is the best chick we received of course

Its not a Rhode Island Red or a Rhode Island White.
Looks to be a Rhode Island Red cross, maybe a sex-link.
