ok thanks excuse my stupid questionReds are not the dark egg layers some folks presume them to be. The eggs shown above are rather typical.
Welp, I guess from what I'm reading here, my RIRs aren't "real". Dang. Guess I got gyped. Oh, wait, no I didn't....check these out.

this is same color that my RIRs have layed and yes some will and do have the little dark brown spots I do not know why but they do,by the way €*BEAUTIFUL EGGS* could you post a picture of your hens and do you have a rooster?
