Rhode Island Red Gender, hoping for the BEST

they are starting to get pointy yes, hurts my little heart

I am still holding out hope for my lil chick.

Nooooooooooooooo............ooooooooooo............

:hugs What is your main concern about this issue? Do you fear Ruby will end up in the pot?...Don't give up right away on finding a suitable home. Are you sad you will miss her very much?...IKR, but it will be OK. Concerned a flock of 2 is too small?... You can raise more babies:D. I went thru this with 3 of my babies... :flWishing you the best result.

no issues besides we were looking forward to three girls and out county u can not have a rooster within city limits. When will they start to crow in the morning? that is probably when we will have to get rid of him. I almost feel like he kind of helped the other day when our fox came through. He was the protector of his girls!

Onset of crowing is so variable between individuals that its almost pointless to speculate bu)t FWIW my BO started first at 14 weeks i think, then Kebechet(just call me Chet) my EE about 2 weeks later and Chuy my BR(and the best rooster personality ever) never did crow before he went to his new home.

IMG_2026.JPG There is him in his new home. Integration was seamless I am told. He is loved wherever he goes. But I still miss him. He is also right in the middle of my avatar.

we will part with him soon, sooner the better so we can get back to a family of three sisters
