That's incorrect. Red with white is a red/gold sexlink. Production Reds are basically anything that looks sort of like a Rhode Island Red, but isn't the right shade of deep, mahogany red.

Cool, either way is fine! They are only 3 weeks still, I was just curious about the two different breeds. I am only raising them for eggs and pets so all are welcome at my house as long as they earn their keep with delicious eggs!

That is definitely a pullet. my RIR rooster was different looking by 3 & 1/2 months. Roosters also have colorful tail feathers. Definitely a pullet.
