how do you tell a rooster from a hen at 3 and a half months old?

by that age my roos had clearly pointed hackle feathers and some of their saddle and sickle feathers coming in. Their wattles and combs were much larger and redder than the pullets'. It was pretty obvious.
 
Here's a picture of a bunch of red chickens I think their around that age. All the ones with big red combs are cockerels.

I was able to tell roos from hens at 8 to 10 wks. Combs were fuller and red, saddle and hackels were coming in and the legs thicker, Hens were rounder where the roos were thinner and taller.
