Rhode Island Red Roo or Hen?

The picture in my avatar is one of my Rhode Island red chicks I received December 17th. I call her big red because she's so much bigger than the other one and clearly the dominant chick one in the group. The picture was taken yesterday. My dog Riley is in the crate, because she wouldn't leave her alone. We are having a little wager at home, because everyone is convinced she is a he. I guess we'll know for sure in 4 weeks, but can anyone tell?

I would guess cockerel - those legs are very long and thick.

Also, when my dog stuck her head in the coop, Big Red ran in front of all the other chickens, opened up her wings and went at her with her talons. My dog was afraid to get near the coop for a few days after that.

Bummer! I ordered 15 female chicks from Meyers Hatchery right before Christmas. Only 8 survived shipping,, and now at least one is a cockerel. Ugh.
