Help! I'm afraid my RIR pullet, Lois Griffin, is really a roo. Her tail feathers are curling down. I'm new to chickens so I don't know. Can you please tell me what you think?

SO I bought 8 chicks from Tractor supply & I am pretty sure I got 7 roosters & 1 hen.( I was assured they were all female.)

What do you think? The hen is actually under the little table & you can't see her comb but she is an obvious hen. No doubt about it at all. I am building my coop out of recycled parts including an old childs play cabin & shipping pallets.

This is one of mine. It will be 5 weeks old Sat. I'm thinking it's a SHE. ???



Then here is another one of them. I have 15 rir's.

This is the group together with the black aust. and 1 black sex link.


They are really scraggly right now. I'll be glad when they get to looking better.

Nope I am pretty sure My chickens are mostly roosters. Their tail feathers are getting all weird looking. Green feathers on the neck....I got ripped off. Will post pic. If I can get a clear one. The hen still looks like a hen & I have a man who wants to trade a couple of red star hens for a couple red roosters so It will all work out I guess. I just want eggs

May want to special order Sex Links which can be sexed by color in the future. I loved my Red Stars from Meyer Hatchery. Huge eggs and friendly. One would peck on the door every day for their morning treat.
