Rhode Island Red with pasty butt

I have an 9 week old Rhode Island Red pullet that has had pasty butt since I brought her home. It's so bad her tail feathers haven't grown.. I clean it off and add Vaseline. But it's nit any better for her. Is there anything else I can do???

Give her a nice warm bath and try breaking up the poop.You can also cut the poop off with some scissors.Oil would work better than Vaseline.
